THE South-East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce has landed a coup for its next breakfast meeting with Queensland Premier Anna Bligh to be the key speaker.

Ms Bligh, a member of the SEBCC for three years, will speak at the Colmslie Hotel in Morningside on July 5.

"I think we're very fortunate at the Chamber to have her speaking," president Penny Cutting said.

"It's really great to have her coming, not in her capacity as a member but as the Premier of the state to talk to her Chamber."

Tickets have gone on sale at the cost of $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

"Everybody I've talked to thinks it's great that we've got the premier coming to talk to us," Ms Cutting said.

"I'm certain members and the business community will be very interested in the Premier's speech.

"Everybody will have an opportunity to meet her and hear her."
